Last night was mad.

"Mission self-dicipline" = FAIL. Probably.

I'm insanely sore all over today. My legs are especially killing me, all black, blue, and purple. I've postponed my plans for tonight until tomorrow, and the rest of my Friday night will be spent watching the newest episodes of Skins and LOST. My life is terribly cool, I know.

It's quite likely that I won't post much in the upcoming week. Because that'll make SUCH a difference from now, right? Anywho, I'm moving back to KBH Ø. And why, yes, I'm very excited!

I have no idea where the depressing emo kid that posted yesterday came from. She went away, though, as soon as I was on the train and headed for the city. Should've known it was the suburbs getting me down. Also, Caspian & The Good Times helped. Their music is so darn pretty it gives me the chills. I can see myself growing addicted to their live shows, though I'll try to keep it less than, say, Factory45. Haha.

All in all, it was a really great night. Beautiful music, beer and girly talk, Din Nye Ven, Floss, and some quite weird texts in my cell's outbox. I was obviously horribly teenage-drunk, but hey! That's my favorite kind.

Unfortunately, we were late for Factory45. Heard it was awesome, though, which, du'h. Sha La Las actually surprised me in a good way. First time I've seen them live without anyone pulling the plug on a guitar, cutting off the electricity completely, or falling down head first on stage. It was fun.

And then I proceeded to take pictures of Mira.

Happy new years - Poladroid style



There's finally a Windows version of the Poladroid software out. Just a beta, but so far I've encountered zero problems worth mentioning. Expect more photos like this, as I'm hooked (and I know, I'm pretty late, but ohhhh well).

Anywho. I had an awesome New Years. We were about 10 girls for dinner, which was really fun. Then moved on to an afterparty in a basement in suburban Copenhagen. I believe we were around 35 people at midnight. Awesome party. Will probably post more pictures later, but I've been completely dead all day. I've read a book and a half, watched almost the entire first season of Heroes on telly, and genereally just had my lazy bum planted safely on the couch. A lovely way to start the new year.

Last night was a blast. Saw people I haven't seen in ages and spoke with a LOT of strangers. I love talking to strangers. They have no idea who you are, and you'll never see them again. You can be whoever you want to be.

The first snow came yesterday. I have no idea why but it made me all happy and excited for winter. With the fresh air and bitter cold. The city is beautiful. Copenhagen, je t'aime!

Tonight I'm going here with an old friend whom I haven't seen in months. I'm excited.

• Studying all night = 4 hours of sleep.
• Midterm!!! in American History. Did alright. Definitely passed.
  
• Walked most of the way home because my bike had a flat tyre. Again.
• Powernap to crappy shows like 7th Heaven. Which, incidentally, I secretly love.

I just can't get enough of the new The Streets album. And I can't wait to get my hands on an actual copy of the CD on Monday. Downloading will NEVER beat the feeling of having a new album in your hands, putting it on at home, and just listening to it all the way through without doing much other but maybe reading a magazine or drawing.

In the spirit of "Everything Is Borrowed" I've borrowed one of the songs. It's one of my current favorites along with "On The Edge Of A Cliff", "Strongest Person I Know", "Heaven For The Weather", and "The Way Of The Dodo". Heh, maybe it sort of defeats the purpose of having favorites when it ends up being 50 % of the songs.

And on a more private note: last night was FAB. Went and saw David Peter And The Wilde Sect along with The Setting Son and it was neat. We followed it up at Rust, dancing and dancing and (for my part) talking to sleazy strange men (seriously, who brags that HIS BROTHER scored three goals in a SERIES 5 football match?)..

I'm off. Tonight is a huge party for all of the people in my year, and my line of study (language and international business communication). We're about.... 450 students? We won't be THAT many, but it's going to be mad nonetheless.

tradition states that freshmen go on a get-to-know-eachother trip in their groups. these trips consist of drinking, playing games, stupid competetions, more drinking, a themeparty, even more drinking, chilling, and well, getting to know eachother.

it was wicked fun. and you get to know each other in such a peculiar way when everyone's drunk off their asses. made it a bit weird today when we finally saw eachother again. sober and all. and just being away from that place and back into reality makes it... well. wierd.

but it was a bloody amazing trip. i wanna go again. the people who are in my group are cool and the next few years are going to be awesome.

i can't wait to start the actual classes, though. the first one is this Friday. i'm excited to start that entire life. college life. university.
