So I know I said this blog is dead. IT STILL IS. I am currently blogging from the other side. It's quite pretty here. And the grass is definitely greener.

The thing is, next week Start! Festival (the former Vesterbro Festival) is here. And I have conducted a sneaky plan to have a camera for this occasion. SO I MIGHT BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY POST PHOTOS. This is quite exciting to me, as I've had no creative outlet besides my Holga since, what. February? Holy schmoly. That sucks.

Anyhow. I'm actually quite excited. 3 days walking around Vesterbro with a pint and my camera just watching bands play sounds just swell to me.

I plan to see:

Thursday is the busiest. I have a jobinterview in the morning (fingers crossed), and it's the day with most bands I want to catch.

My favorite Danish acoustic folksy whatchamacallit. Myspazz.

20:15 - VINNIE WHO.
Somehow I've managed to miss several free gigs of this, and that is just idiotic. He's actually also playing Rust tomorrow night, admission is free before 11pm, and again I WILL MISS IT. But I'll catch him at Start! then. Myspazz.

21:15 - APOLLO.
Quite new to me. But after reading Regnsky's first installment of their "Start! guide", I took the time to check out a couple of tracks on their MySpace, and hey, why not? I need something to pass the time before...

Very much my favorite Danish band atm. Seriously. THEY ARE AWESOME. Very fun and energetic live. Impossible not to dance just a little. Or a lot. Myspazz.

Friday and Saturday both have less exciting programs. I'm volunteering Friday (Øksbar from 14:30 to 19:30 - come say hi!), and probably catching Gustav Foss, Vilhelm, and whatever else floats my boat at that time.
Saturday is only a maybe right now. I want to see Giana Factory and Fallulah, but, well. We'll see.

I really hope I'll have photos to share from all this. Cross your fingers and toes and arms and cocks and whatever else is long enough to cross, that my camera-scheme will succeed.

Now back to deadness. Catch you on the flipside. Yo.

Announcement. Ish.

So.. This blog is dead. If you hadn't noticed. I've been putting it off, but yeah. A post a week, max, doesn't really count as a blog.

I might resurrect it (you know, LIKE JESUS) if/when I get my camera back or buy a new one. I really really miss it.

But this blog is meaningless without it.

So long, suckers.

The Killers on Letterman

I just realized that this is what I'm missing out on in just 3 weeks. They'll be in Denmark, and I'll be at Vesterbro/Start! Festival instead of with them. WHY AM I NOT RICH???

I can't believe I'm missing it. I'm about 90 % sure that I'd start crying if I heard this song live. Like that one song with The Streets that always makes me bawl in the middle of everything.

It's also very pathetic that the idea of missing a band in concert is giving me a knot in my stomach. Like a serious, twisting, twirling knot. Boo. :(

Tragic Kingdom.

What the hell happened to Gwen Stefani's voice?

I was all excited that No Doubt were performing on American Idol this week, and even more so when I found out they'd be playing Just A Girl. But then this happened. What the fuck?

I've been quite psyched about the No Doubt reunion tour, hoping they'd stop by DK, and I've even been listening a bit to Tragic Kingdom these last few weeks (seriously an awesome album. I live happily in a "Rock Steady DID NOT HAPPEN" world.)

But that performance was so messy. I don't get it.

Btw, a confession. I love American Idol. Shut up, it's fucking awesome. And Ryan Seacrest is seriously the king of the world. Like, KING AWESOME of the world.

But that is some serious digressing, right there. Oh well, might as well keep going.

Tonight I'll be heading to Jolene for their birthday bash. The Adam from The Good The Bad is DJ'ing, and he might just be my favorite DJ in CPH. Except Silas Starling. He's fucking ace. The point it, I plan to dance until my feet hurt.

Tomorrow, I want to go to The Blue Van in Tivoli. Probably not happening though, as I don't have company to do so. Anyone want to come to TBV with me? Pretty please?

Yes, I'm begging the internet for company. I'm a sad, sad human being.
