It's 4AM. I have to leave for work in less than 4 hours. EXCELLENT.
Spending my time very productively. Cigarettes and Sigur Rós - Untitled 3 on repeat. Browsed Flickr and added a bunch of new faves. Hung up some lights on my wall which I've been meaning to do for ages. Ended up making it spell out l-o-v-e. Very cliché. It was either that or a PacMan. But the latter turned out to be sort of difficult.
Also, favorite YouTube/SNL Digital Short EVER:
Fucking brilliant.
I think I'm going to clean my room now. Maybe work on that "best albums of 2000s" list I've started compiling. Something more productive than sitting here refreshing Twitter and Google Reader over and over again. AND NOTHING IS HAPPENING ON THE INTERWEBZ, DAMMIT.
I also just felt the urge to finish this post with "l8r", which I do believe is an excellent testimony to my sanity right now.

Tonight.
Algernon Cadwallader, Teenage Cool Kids, Animal Hospital, Nightpass @ Lades Kælder.
YES!
I have a minimum of 6 concerts to attend in the next 3-4 week period. I can't wait to get back out there with my camera and just shoooot.

There's nothing new for anyone to add.
But yeah. Ya still gotta say something.
Rest in peace, man. We'll always remember you on top of the world.

The Killers on Letterman
I just realized that this is what I'm missing out on in just 3 weeks. They'll be in Denmark, and I'll be at Vesterbro/Start! Festival instead of with them. WHY AM I NOT RICH???
I can't believe I'm missing it. I'm about 90 % sure that I'd start crying if I heard this song live. Like that one song with The Streets that always makes me bawl in the middle of everything.
It's also very pathetic that the idea of missing a band in concert is giving me a knot in my stomach. Like a serious, twisting, twirling knot. Boo. :(

Tragic Kingdom.
What the hell happened to Gwen Stefani's voice?
I was all excited that No Doubt were performing on American Idol this week, and even more so when I found out they'd be playing Just A Girl. But then this happened. What the fuck?
I've been quite psyched about the No Doubt reunion tour, hoping they'd stop by DK, and I've even been listening a bit to Tragic Kingdom these last few weeks (seriously an awesome album. I live happily in a "Rock Steady DID NOT HAPPEN" world.)
But that performance was so messy. I don't get it.
Btw, a confession. I love American Idol. Shut up, it's fucking awesome. And Ryan Seacrest is seriously the king of the world. Like, KING AWESOME of the world.
But that is some serious digressing, right there. Oh well, might as well keep going.
Tonight I'll be heading to Jolene for their birthday bash. The Adam from The Good The Bad is DJ'ing, and he might just be my favorite DJ in CPH. Except Silas Starling. He's fucking ace. The point it, I plan to dance until my feet hurt.
Tomorrow, I want to go to The Blue Van in Tivoli. Probably not happening though, as I don't have company to do so. Anyone want to come to TBV with me? Pretty please?
Yes, I'm begging the internet for company. I'm a sad, sad human being.

HP & HBP
Following Tom Felton/Draco Malfoy on Twitter just paid off. (And I seriously need to lay off Twitter and Twitter-related posts now)
IT LOOKS FUCKING AWESOME. Fuck. I can't wait. Really, it should've been out in NOVEMBER, right, so come on. COME ON.

I like this.
I've lost count on how many "fuck I'm sick of winter"-moments Little Joy saved me from. I can't listen to it without imagining chilling on a Californian beach. Preferably with Fab Moretti, Devendra Banhart, etc.
And how cool is the vid?

Wasted.
I find it a little strange that the day I really discover Angus & Julia Stone is almost exactly a year after the release date of their album, "A Book Like This". It's like, I've heard it before, listened to some of their songs, but I never actually noticed them before. Now I did. And now I'm in love.
It's so beautiful. Especially the tracks "Wasted" and "Just A Boy". Especially "Wasted". Seriously, I'm almost embarrassed by the number of times I've had it on repeat for more than an hour. But it's sooo good. Sooooooooo good. K? (I've got a feeling I'm going to love almost all the songs on this album at different times. I already think I know which one's next.)

But the entire album is amazing, so just get that.

I love this version so much I've geeked out and ripped the audio to an mp3. IMO it's way better than the original. Even if I wish James Allen would just rip off the bloody sunglasses, already. It was bad enough on NMTB.

Should really have gone to bed hours ago but instead I've spent the last many hours:
- Photoshopping old photos, specifically playing around with saturation, levels, and contrast in portraits.
- Playing The Sims 2 until my thingie died on me. Like, who needs food or sleep while pregnant anyways?
- Keeping an eye on the red carpet arrivals of the Grammy Awards.
- Watching YouTube videos.
Any chance someone could send me a carrier pigeon with a Coke ASAP???
It's probably a good thing I don't have class until 3:20PM tomorrow. 'night.

Definitely excited for Emmy The Great's debut album, First Love, to come out on February 2nd. I have very high hopes for this one. I love that she incorporates a little tribute to the unbeatable Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah in this song. Very neat.

Joseph, Better You Than Me.
And here it is. The Killers, Elton John, and Neil Tennant - Joseph, Better You Than Me.
Haven't got much to say about this yet. I've listened to it about 10 times and I've still not decided what I really think about it. Which tells me it isn't impressing.
I miss the sense of humor from A Great Big Sled and Don't Shoot Me Santa.

What's My Age Again?
This is amazing.

Apparently the plane crash Travis Barker was involved in back in mid-September was good for something. Apparantly it's brought Travis and Mark Hoppus back to talking to Tom Delonge. Apparantly, they've made up.
I don't have the words to explain what blink-182 meant to me when I was younger. I hardly ever listen to it anymore but I can't deny the influence it had on me. I can't explain it either, but you know. I really didn't listen to that much else for years. It's sounds so fucking corny but it brought me through some tough times. It reminds me of the first few times drunk at 13. Of jumping around like maniacs with friends. Of my first boyfriend and the first break-up. It's like the soundtrack to my early teen years.
And this sort of gives (minuscule) hope of a reunion tour. And that would be fucking badass. I don't even know how I'd react. Probably quite teenish. And fangirlish. But, hey. It's allowed.
M+M's.
Lenghty post about Day & Age will be up soon.
