The Kinks - (Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman

Amazingness

How can you not fall completely in love with this?? :

I miss their concert. It's totally on my top 3 list of concerts in 2008. So amazing. And I got my first (kinda) published photo out of it. (Not the above, unfortunately. That's all the brilliant Guy Eppel's doing) And of course this fucking fabulous Leonard Cohen cover:

'Tis The Season.

I don't have Internet at the moment, leading to the inactivity around here. But, at least the missing Christmas spirit has come over me! I even put up some Christmas decorations at my place (drunkenly grabbed from a nearby public Christmas tree one night, but whatever).

Visuals and audio that finally brought this about:

Belle and Sebastian - Santa Claus, Go Straight To The Ghetto
The Kinks - Father Christmas
The Raveonettes - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
Ryan Adams - Hey Parker, It's Christmas
The Wombats - Is This Christmas?

I furthermore recommend The Raveonettes - Wishing You A Rave Christmas EP and Belle and Sebastian - Peel Christmas Party.
