It's 4AM. I have to leave for work in less than 4 hours. EXCELLENT.

Spending my time very productively. Cigarettes and Sigur Rós - Untitled 3 on repeat. Browsed Flickr and added a bunch of new faves. Hung up some lights on my wall which I've been meaning to do for ages. Ended up making it spell out l-o-v-e. Very cliché. It was either that or a PacMan. But the latter turned out to be sort of difficult.

I think I'm going to clean my room now. Maybe work on that "best albums of 2000s" list I've started compiling. Something more productive than sitting here refreshing Twitter and Google Reader over and over again. AND NOTHING IS HAPPENING ON THE INTERWEBZ, DAMMIT.

I also just felt the urge to finish this post with "l8r", which I do believe is an excellent testimony to my sanity right now.

November 20th (THAT'S A WEEK FROM TODAY!) I am going to die.

Monsters Of Folk are visiting our lovely city, playing a gig at Store Vega. I haven't listened to their music as much as I should, but I've been mega-super-excited to see them anyway. I mean, it's M. Ward (I cried last time I saw him) and Conor Oberst. I love them. LOVE. So imagine my excitement when the news came out that they'll be playing solo-material at this concert as well as tracks from the joint album.

I am currently in class. I might have squealed when I read that piece of news. Loudly.

I am going to cry on November 20th. I am going to cry and when the 2-3 HOUR long concert is over, I can die happy.

Seriously, my hands are shaking. THIS IS THE BEST NEWS I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.

... Otherwise, my life is pretty damn near perfection these days. I'm insanely busy all the time, I'm only home to sleep (sometimes) and drink coffee before running out again. Hence the lack of blogging. I have so many photos to post, alas I never seem to have the time. Even if I'm done editing the results of Brendan Benson, The Big Pink, and the Horrors, it seems like an immensely huge amount of work to actually upload them to Flickr and write somewhat coherent post about it.

So. Patience. It'll come sometime when things slow down. I don't really want it to slow down, but I foresee a lot of procrastination in the future as the exams are coming up and I have some major papers to write.

There's also a boy. There's a lot of happy love songs on repeat and a whole lot of time spent being that annoyingly happy couple holding hands while getting milk at the supermarket (I always hate those people).

I'll get around to it whenever.

The open bar last night hit harder than expected. I remember doing Wonderwall as a karaoke duet. I remember it being filmed, standing in front of a blue screen spilling beer everywhere. Here's to that never making it online.

I remember this song on YouTube, repeat repeat repeat, as the night ended way differently than planned on a balcony somewhere in the city, the rain pounding down.

I have no idea how to deal with work after seeing my bosses dance to Lady Gaga.

I have no idea if this blog is alive or not right now. I sort of want it to be, but I've got no idea what I want to do with it. It needs a reinvention. Ressurrection.

I'm particularly uninspired this summer. My only time off was Roskilde and that already feels like months ago. Now it's fulltime work work work. Tomorrow it's even the classic 9-5. I do really like my job, though. Not that it's especially groundbreaking or anything, but there's always something to do (I really hate jobs where you're just bored all the time. Time moves faster when you're busy.). Also, my colleages are amazing. Almost all Swedes. But so great. Saturday night we had a meeting at our department and went out for dinner afterwards, on the company's bill. And then we all ended up drinking beer and shots while shooting pool at Floss - STILL on the company's bill. It was fucking ace.

Alas, I don't have much spare time. It's alright, really, because work is so social and busy I hardly have any energy left when I get home. I never even eat at my place anymore, because our cantine is like, THE GREATEST. The food is so good. And there's free fruit. And soft ice.

Anywho. I doubt anything'll show up here this summer. Maybe a random photo or two. I FINALLY got my camera back last weekend, but I've had no time to use it. We'll see.

I was all excited that No Doubt were performing on American Idol this week, and even more so when I found out they'd be playing Just A Girl. But then this happened. What the fuck?

I've been quite psyched about the No Doubt reunion tour, hoping they'd stop by DK, and I've even been listening a bit to Tragic Kingdom these last few weeks (seriously an awesome album. I live happily in a "Rock Steady DID NOT HAPPEN" world.)

But that performance was so messy. I don't get it.

Btw, a confession. I love American Idol. Shut up, it's fucking awesome. And Ryan Seacrest is seriously the king of the world. Like, KING AWESOME of the world.

But that is some serious digressing, right there. Oh well, might as well keep going.

Tonight I'll be heading to Jolene for their birthday bash. The Adam from The Good The Bad is DJ'ing, and he might just be my favorite DJ in CPH. Except Silas Starling. He's fucking ace. The point it, I plan to dance until my feet hurt.

Tomorrow, I want to go to The Blue Van in Tivoli. Probably not happening though, as I don't have company to do so. Anyone want to come to TBV with me? Pretty please?

Anywho. Just felt the urge to share a semi-old shot of him. Just spent half an hour on the phone with him, talking about girls. He listens way too much to what I say than what really is good for him.

Otherwise. I'm not sure what this blog is here for now. My camera is broken, and yes, I might have shed a tear. It's currently underway to get fixed, but that's only happening if it's "claimable". So not a word. But you know. I can't afford to fix it, so I really hope it's just a flaw.

But. The point. I feel like this blog is completely useless if I'm not posting my own photos on it. It's what it's here for, supposedly. And, random music ramblings. But even those are more fun with my own pics. For instance, last Friday, lovely Mira and I went to a Setting Son gig. It was awesome. But, I couldn't take pictures, obviously. And felt completely useless. What's the use of mentioning a perfectly fun show on here if I can't even document the keyboardist dancing around in his sequined hotpants with his private parts falling out? I mean, it's just not as fun.

So. Except for random shit, this might be quiet. Er. If possible. I do plan to post about The Asteroids Galaxy Tour's new album (which is quite awesome) soon, but yeah. You catch my drift.

• The sun was shining today. Finally some light! I'm sick of the color grey infesting everything and everyone, especially my mood.
• I'm in a horrible mood these days. Almost no exception. I hate everything and have an extreme urge to just write "HHHHHHH" whenever anyone asks me ANYTHING. (y'know, "hhh", as in "sigh", just the sound? y'know? no?)
• I'm counting on Caspian & The Good Times @ Raahuset tonight to make me smile. Last time I saw them they made my sickness fade. Or, well. I might've just been done being sick, but I like thinking of Caspian & The Good Times as my personal healers. Or something.

It seriously pisses me off because they're obviously not coming back just a month later for Roskilde, then. That just seems silly and unlikely. AND THAT SUCKS.

I sort of want to go to Skive now, which is fucked, because I can barely get the funds for a Roskilde ticket as it is, and bla bla fucking blah. Stupid. And I was SO nice about the above pictured outfit for the Spaceman video. Had an entire (drunk) post written about the stupidity of it, but I decided not to be so mean, because I love them and all. But now I'm just mad enough to post this ridiculous and entirely unrelated picture JUST BECAUSE HE LOOKS LIKE AN IDIOT. IN A SPACEMAN SUIT. WITH FEATHERS.

I'm starting to get a little too excited about that caps lock key, so, in other news: Emmy The Great's new album came out yesterday and it's pretty, though I think I like the old demo versions better. I had my first real class today and I think I'm going to throw up the next time someone asks me to analyze an Obama speech. Also went to brunch with a bunch of my classmates, talking about movies for almost two hours. Tomorrow I'm having lunch between classes with my favorite New Yorker, and then I get to see the insides of the new DR "koncerthus", which is pretty exciting. Hope they'll let me take photos. It's supposed to be pretty.

I'm rambling. I'll just go away and watch the new episodes of How I Met Your Mother, House, and Gossip Girl back to back.

I'm sick sick sick, to the point where I had to miss my final exam today and pay the doctor $$$ for a declaration of illness (or whathefuckever) so I can take it in a few months instead. Great timing, illness! TNX!

So of course I've slept about 16 hours in the last 24 hours period and now I'm restless and sick and very alone on messenger at 1:53AM. It's not bad, I'm browsing Le Love and Le Smoking while listening to approx. 5 different versions of the epic Hallelujah (though not at once). Top 3 in order of preference: Jeff Buckley, Jason Castro, Rufus Wainwright.

I've also discovered that I desperately need to get my hands on Vogue US Februrary, just for these amazing photos of Agyness Deyn and Albert Hammond, Jr.

The new series begin on the 22nd. Now, I love Skins. Love love love. (it's all Ida's fault, btw). But I may have loved the previous two series and its cast too much to take in this completely ('cept for Effy) new one. I'll definitely be watching come the 22nd, I'm just anticipating quite a bit of scepticism on my part.

There's finally a Windows version of the Poladroid software out. Just a beta, but so far I've encountered zero problems worth mentioning. Expect more photos like this, as I'm hooked (and I know, I'm pretty late, but ohhhh well).

Anywho. I had an awesome New Years. We were about 10 girls for dinner, which was really fun. Then moved on to an afterparty in a basement in suburban Copenhagen. I believe we were around 35 people at midnight. Awesome party. Will probably post more pictures later, but I've been completely dead all day. I've read a book and a half, watched almost the entire first season of Heroes on telly, and genereally just had my lazy bum planted safely on the couch. A lovely way to start the new year.

Sorry I've been MIA. Finally got a decent internet connection today, so posting should go back to normal now (because I was oh so constistent before, y' know).

Again, I don't really remember. I'm 99 % sure there are a bunch of smaller films I've loved much more than the ones I can think of now, which are only the blockbusters. The Dark Knight, Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder. All very entertaining movies, but not in the OMG I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND WANT TO MARRY IT-way. I reallyreally loved Wall-E, though. LOVED.

I've been extremely productive this morning. I sleep like hell at the moment but actually managed to get 5 hours of blissful rest last night. Woke up at around 8AM and stared at the sun rising from below the rooftops (sometimes living on the 4th floor with windows facing east is quite the treat). Then decided to actually do something with my day, contrasting to yesterday's skipping class and doing jack shit.

So before noon I've done all the dishes I could find, my flatmates' included. I've done laundry enough to last me a week, cleaned out my cabinet in the kitchen, and thrown out nasty old milk from the fridge. All that crap you usually avoid. Now all I need is to fold up all the clean clothes currently occupying my chair. Which, no shit, is something I actually enjoy doing.

Otherwise... It's only Tuesday and I'm already longing for the weekend.
